Camera Angles
WALLDO
W - Wide - film subject with the camera fully zoomed out.
A - Angled - film subject with the camera at an angle.
L - Low - film subject with the camera at camera person’s feet pointing up.
L - Linking - film subject and then move camera to film something else without pausing the camera, or zooming in or out.
D - Depth - putting something in front of the subject (tree, pole, branch) to show depth.
O- Opposite - something unexpected like a reflection or shadow instead of the main subject.
POV - Point of View shot - film the video from a person’s viewpoint, like you are looking through their eyes. You can film from a baby’s point of view by holding the camera close to the ground.
Camera shots as it relates to a person
Wide - zoom out and film the whole person.
Mid - zoom in and film the person from the waist up.
Close-up - zoom in and film the person’s head and shoulders.
Extreme Close-up - zoom in and film just the person’s face.
